What is your policy on children?

Little ones up to 6 years stay on complimentary basis. Little ones between the age of 6 and 12 are charged 50% off food and beverage and will require an extra bed which is subject to charges and availability.


What is your pet policy?

We are a pet friendly brand and all our hotels in the UAE are pet friendly, with the exception of Manzil Downtown. Please get in touch with the team on stay@vidahotels.com prior to your arrival so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Pets are allowed only in specific pet friendly rooms and floors.
Addition cost of AED 150 per stay and AED 50 per day per pet to be added for dedicated pet cleaning services.
Proof of vaccination must be presented upon check in.
Valid for stays up to 14 days only.
Limited to two pets per room.
Valid for pets under 10KG.

What are the different Public Transportation options available in Dubai?

RTA Taxi:
Dubai has an extensive taxi system, and the most frequently used means of transportation throughout the city. Dubai Taxi Corporation’s fleet is made up of approximately 3,854 vehicles working 24 hours, 7 days a week including public and religious holidays. Taxis in Dubai take 14 minutes to reach the customers doorstep once the booking has been registered and RTA Taxi’s can be distinguished from other taxi companies by its clean, well-maintained interior, friendly and professional drivers.

Uber:
Uber is a convenient, inexpensive and safe taxi service that is offered in Dubai. Uber uses a location-based app which makes it very easy to book an on-demand private driver using any smartphone device. Once the booking has been made, the customer will be able to track the location of the driver using the dynamic map option. At the end of the journey, payment will be made based on the customers pre-selected preferences such as: credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or cash.

Careem:
Careen was created in Dubai largely for corporate clients, but grew excessively to a multi-vehicle platform. Careem’s mission is to simplify and improve the lives of people and through the introduction of more diverse vehicles, they are becoming a key provider of app-based transportation in the region.

Metro Dubai:
Dubai Metro is a modern and fully automated rail system, providing a vast number of features and services for the convenience of the users. Dubai Metro train comprises of various types of cabins, designed for different types of commuters, including a gold card holders cabin, general cabins and designated cabins for women and children.

Byky Station:
BYKY station allows users to discover Dubai on a bicycle. This revolutionary street service allows users to conveniently see the sights of Dubai with more than 85 bicycle rental points throughout the UAE. Bicycle pick up and drop off are from any of the BYKY locations and there are no time restrictions up to 24 hours. Locations stretch between Deira through to Palm Jumeirah. Byke rentals start from AED 15 for 30 minutes, AED 20 for 1 hour and AED 80 for 24 hours.

Bus stations:
The Dubai bus service network, covers 87% of the urban area in the Emirate of Dubai. The bus service is designed in such a way that it makes each corner of Dubai easy and accessible with a total of 125 Dubai bus routes. The routes offer 48 local services, 31 feeder buses, 13 central business district services, 8 express services, 11 inter-city service buses and 3 buses to key destinations such as Global village and Miracle Garden.

Dubai Tram:
The Dubai tramway covers a distance of 10.6 Km and is located in Al Sufouh, Dubai. The tram runs between 11 stations that includes Al Sufouh Road, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Lakes Towers. The Dubai Tram is also the first tramway project outside of Europe that is powered by a ground-based electric supply system.

Marine:
In pursuit of RTA’s efforts to serve every corner of Dubai’s population, the RTA has created a modern style of public transport under the umbrella of Marine Transportation. This mode of transportation encourages the public and tourists to take an alternative approach to view the city with multiple offerings such as: an Abra, RTA Water bus, RTA water taxi and Dubai Ferry.
